I love a strong woman.
Feminine strength is something I have always been drawn to.
It is powerful, yet soft.
There is something about hearing your woman say, “I love you too,” that gives a man something different. Something that makes him feel powerful in a way that has nothing to do with proving himself.
To hold a woman takes a powerful grace.
It is a dance between raw power and surrendering power.
Strength in the arms.
Softness in how that strength is used.
Power under control.
At first, when I found women who could get under my armor, I would run.
Now I understand that it takes skill and a certain feminine power to do that.
That armor was not built for decoration.
It was built from life.
From pain.
From responsibility.
From survival.
So when somebody gets underneath it, that can feel dangerous.
If that access is abused, it can become a problem.
But that is another conversation.
I am always in my head.
Thinking.
Planning.
Replaying.
Building.
Preparing.
So when a woman can help pull me out of there for a minute, that is a plus.
And yes, that is a turn-on too.
There is something powerful about a woman who can make a man feel like he does not have to stay mentally armed every second.
Not because she makes him weak.
Because she gives him somewhere safe enough to put some of that weight down.
There is nothing more valuable to a man than a valuable woman in her own right.
Not a woman who gets her value from standing beside him.
A woman who already has value.
Her own strength.
Her own mind.
Her own purpose.
Her own presence.
That kind of woman does not take away from a King.
She adds to the Kingdom.
And when two people truly understand each other, something changes.
When they can see the bad with the same understanding they give the good.
When they understand the scars, the habits, the fears, the strengths, the flaws, and the reasons underneath them.
And still choose to love each other with understanding.
What more can a King and Queen ask for their Kingdom?
The world can still be at war.
There can still be responsibilities.
Pressure.
Problems.
Battles.
But not around me.
Not when I am laying there with my Queen.
That is where the armor comes off.
That is where the weapons hit the floor.
That is where the King gets to simply be a man for a minute.
And she knows exactly why I love her.
