🫣 Don’t Be Food 🦇🦇

I watched the woman I love break down right in front of my eyes from being overwhelmed.

The showing of emotions didn’t make me run away or make me want to rescue her.

It just made me see what was really happening.

She was being drained.

Each time we give our time or energy to someone or something, it costs us.

When that energy is reciprocated, you may still feel the energetic transfer, but you aren’t left drained.

Because what you pour out eventually returns—sometimes tenfold.

That’s the best-case scenario.

But what happens when that person—or that choice—has no desire or no ability to reciprocate?

We get drained.

The energy leaves us, they receive it, and then they—or it—come back for more.

And more.

And more.

Most of us catch this from strangers almost instantly.

But what about the people close to us?

What about the ones who are more covert?

The ones who don’t look like they’re draining you because access to your energy has become normal.

This is where it gets tricky.

How can you tell?

Simply put: balance.

Once we learn to recognize where energy is being reciprocated and where it isn’t, it becomes our choice whether we continue transferring energy to that person or situation.

What the masters have taught me—and shown me through their actions—is that this applies to everyone and everything.

That is what creates true balance.

And balance is energetic garlic to vampires. 🦇
