The waves crash against my ankles, as I walk along the shoreline.
“Come on in the waters fine.” They say to me, as water flies.
“I am sure it is. However, no thank you.” I reply.
That’s why beach bums have a white noses.
Only my ankles are wet, because that’s as deep as the beach goes.

I have been to the beach a couple times in my life so far.
I have visited the smaller beaches in my home state of Missouri. I also traveled to Texas to beaches like The Gulf of Mexico. The beach at the Gulf of Mexico was breathtaking.
To gaze upon that much water with no land mass to see for miles is a humbling feeling. It will quickly remind you of how big the world is and how small you are in comparison. The sounds of the ocean roared around me to show me how powerful she was.
The wind blew through my dreads as they spread out over the breeze like my hero’s cape. Warm, mushy sand covered every inch of my barefoot in a wet, gritty mess. Seagulls cackle in the distance as I am too focused on my thoughts to hear their arguing clearly.
Watching the waves wax and wane against the shore, bringing to the surface emotional traumas of my life as they disappear in the vastness of the waters.
Anyone who knows me knows I have always enjoyed walking barefoot. I must feel ‘raw ground’ under my feet anywhere I touch down. I am legendary for coming out of my shoes and walking around the streets barefoot. It’s like a right of passage for me. So, walking the beach barefoot in the Gulf of Mexico was a must for me! The salty wind surrounding me cleaned the Newport tar from my lungs. It was truly emotionally relaxing at the moment. With all that said, I still wouldn’t pick this destination. So, it is the mountains for me.
“To the Mountain Top!”
As the king of the lone wolves, I will always pick the tranquility of the mountains over a bustling beach setting. You could visit a private beach or go before the crowds show up. And you will have the beach to yourself for the most part. But it still wouldn’t compare to the mountains to me. Why? I am glad you asked. For the trees, man!
I have always enjoyed being around trees ever since I was a child. They are life-giving plants. Tree’s ability to absorb negative energies and replace them with positive energy is awe-inspiring. Here is my theory on how trees can release and recycle our energy.
In photosynthesis, plants take carbon dioxide and convert it into oxygen. We breathe oxygen and convert it into carbon dioxide. The universe is connected. That carbon dioxide we exhale contains more than just breath. It contains particles of energy. The tree takes the carbon dioxide we exhale and the energy. The trees replace it with its version of particle release. In turn, we breathe in the tree’s particles, completing the cycle because they are opposites.

Standing next to a tree, you can almost feel it drawing the negativity in your energy to the surface. The secret to accessing this power from the trees is simple. Allow the thoughts to come and leave, as they leave your mind; the tree will remove the negative energy behind or in that thought. You don’t have to judge the thought or lead your mind anywhere. Just breathe and allow the doctor to operate. It’s just that simple. Breathe and repeat the steps until that particular thought’s energy subsides.
Thank you some much for reading my thoughts. We now have formed a bond that I hope will grow into a fruitful relationship for us both.
