What makes a good neighbor?

This is an interesting question for me today. As a proud lone wolf antisocialist, I am vexed on how to answer this question.

On the one hand, I normally would say I would prefer my neighbors to mind their own business.

I have never been a fan of the “Nosey Ned” type of neighbors. The low-key stalker type of person, who can creepily tell you what you did around your house for the day. I am sure you know the type, maybe it’s you.

On the other hand, since being in North Carolina, I have had a change of heart, so to speak.

I am still a die-hard lone wolf anti socialist, but now I am willing to team up with others like myself in order to accomplish a common task or goals.

I realize that it is not that I don’t want to socialize. It that I am not the biggest fan of small talk. Let’s just say I would rather have my testicle run over by a Ford F-150.

What’s the point? 🤔

Social butterflies do have a point where you can’t spend every moment alone in your thoughts and worlds.

Playing out different schemes and scenarios in the laboratory of the mind. Yet, they never actually bring these thoughts or images into physical reality.

In ancient times, this was a source of much debate or reckless actions. The political man is seeking to find a common ground or perhaps a peaceful solution.

Versus, the warrior, who would rather let the battlefield decide the fate of the land.

It is important to interact with the outside world and its inhabitants. Otherwise, you become that creepy dude who stands in the back of the room watching but never going the moment. (No cap that’s me most of the time.)

So I will close with a question of my own for you.

Do you like your neighbors?

Distant and off to themselves or friendly and visiting regularly?

I would like to thank you for taking this time out of your busy life to join me in my world. I hope this visit has sparked new ideas and passion within you!
