Today is 154 days no smoking!
I am proud of myself because I smoked for a very long time.
When I first decided to stop smoking, my girlfriend at the time said she wanted to stop too. That lasted until she left. I, on the other hand, kept the promise we made. We aren’t together anymore, but I’m still not smoking.
There is irony in that. LBVS.
When I first quit, I thought that by the time I got to this point my life would be changed by the no-smoking angels and I’d be a new man with a new life! Which is true… just not like I imagined.
I pictured the no-smoking angels coming to bless me with riches and instant health. People would see what I went through and give me the flowers I deserve! ๐๐พโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐พโโ๏ธ๐
Snap back to reality….๐คก๐คฃ
All the things that come with quitting smoking, health-wise, don’t happen overnight. Hidden pains and problems that smoking masked start to show up. Patterns you never noticed before become clear, and you start seeing people differently.
Relationships change in ways that can’t be unseen.
Though it sounds like it’s all bad, I’m not turning back! I made it through the darkness and the pain. So I greet you from Day 154 on my journey, wherever you are on yours. I share my strength and my story with you in hopes that it empowers you to stay the course.
I see you! And all those who come after you will be motivated by your giant fat donkey change too! (That’s right. ๐ฌ)
My name is Kinfolk Wellin’, and I thank you for your time and support.
Peace. โ๐พ
