I have a saying that I have been using for a few years now.
At first, I didn’t realize how much I was using the phrase until I had someone say, “That’s your catchphrase, huh?”
To which I responded, “What do you mean by that?!”
“Everybody got a catchphrase, and you have said ‘yeah man’ a lot so that must be yours.”
I don’t remember what she said her catchphrase was but again hopefully you got the topical outline.
However, this made me think about how much I used the statement for a brief moment to which I responded, of course, “Yeah man I guess.” We both laugh at the true statement.
Yeah, man, it has come to be one of my signature statements, my go-to if you will.
I found myself using it in numerous ways depending on what the response would require.
Person: “Hey did you like the food?”
Me: “Yeah, man! It was fire!”
And I could continue with different questions but hopefully, you get the point.
It’s a simple phrase that has gained traction in my life.
This gives me a great icebreaker or topic of conversation.
I have even had people pick up the saying after being around me.
They seem to gain a sense of happiness from hearing me use the phrase as I do.
Which is only fair because I picked it up from Usher. 🤣🤣💯
