What was the hardest personal goal you’ve set for yourself?

Introduction –
The Nomad
It was always my dream to travel.
I have been to a few states across the country.
Some I have just rode thru, others I stopped thru.
Each time I would gas up and hit the highway, it filled me with the same excitement as I would feel as a child.

The BG
My Granny would tell me stories about her taking my mother and Auntie on road trips across the country.
The stories filled me with a sense of wonder and excitement.
I could listen to my Granny tell her stories for hours.
It made me feel like I got to know her as a person and not just my granny.
But sadly, by the time I got old enough to take my Granny on a road trip, Granny would decline my offers.
Anyone who has taken a road trip could understand why she declined.

Okay, so what’s the Point? 🤔
First, you need 🤏🏾TMI.
Can remember the last time I had a home in my mind.
I felt loved. I felt safe.
I was surrounded by people who love me for who I am despite my faults.
It smelled like homemade food and weed. 🥰🫡
(Well, not the weed part, but you get the drift.)
It was a very long time ago.
And to this day, I am still searching for my adult home.
So, that being said.
Answer: To have a home.

So, what cha thinkin’?
🤔
Do you feel like me? A nomad searching for his/her tribe?
Do you feel like you have a Home?
What you feel makes a house a home?
Drop the answers in the comments.
I would love to hear your feelings and opinions.
Iron sharpens iron, I aim to stay sharp!
In Conclusion –
