Chapter One: This anit that!
Part Eight
“Great-great grandson, huh?” Willing says, looking at Abel, studying his face and movements.

“Yeah, Ol’ Man, we are family,” Abel states, swiping his finger back and forth, himself to Willing.

Abel looks sternly at Willing. Then he grabs a chain hanging from under his dusty shirt.
The golden chain dances in the light and then drops, revealing a silver locket of equally luminous shine.
“My grandmother said I would find you here,” Abel declares, looking at the locket lovingly.

“I see,” Willing says, coldly still studying Abel’s movements and voice tones.

“Did you know there is a map engraved on this locket?” Abel asks Willing, still looking at his locket.
Abel returns his stare to Willing, then responds, “Of course you did. You don’t seem like the type of man who would be surprised by anything at this point,” Abel continues with a childish tone.

“And exactly how did I train you?” Willing asks, Abel still studying his every word and gesture.

“It was programmed into me when my Granny gave me this locket,” Abel replies, looking directly into Willing eyes.

The two watch each other while remaining motionless. Willing glances down at the glowing locket dangling from Abel’s neck.
His eyes glaze over as he is transported back in his memory briefly, then he replies.
“I gave Mabel-Ann that locket,” Willing states, pointing to the charm at the end of Abel’s neckless.
“I told her I would come back to her after I rescued my father,” Willing articulates, looking at the ceiling as if he could see the sky.
“That one task took me twenty years to complete. By the time I looked up and came back to get her. She was gone,” Willing persists, returning his stare to Abel and his locket.

Abel does not rebuttal Willing’s information and remains motionless.
Willing also does not move and resumes to scan Abel’s movements.
“Listen, Ol’ man, this anit that,” Abel states grabbing his chain and tucking the locket back in his shirt.
“I came here because there is something that I need to tell you,” Abel resumes grabbing an envelope out of his pants pocket.
