Chapter One: This Anit That!
Part Five
“I have got to control my temper better.”
“If this building wasn’t built so strong I might have destroyed this place with my fits over the years.” he says to himself, looking around the room.”

The room walls are covered with broken picture frames and various broken wall lights.
Pieces of ripped-up pictures litter the floor and have collected their layer of dust, making their black-and-white images harder to decipher.
Willing looks down at a tattered picture at his feet he swats away the dust and glass covering the picture fragment before bringing it towards his squinting eyes.
“T.P.”
“We had sometimes times back then, didn’t we?”
“Just two young men loving women and tearing up every town we stopped in.”
“If the commander knew how we usta tear the night life a new one.”

Willing says, looking at a disembodied photo of a young black man holding a rifle.
Tears begin to overtake Willing’s eyes as he looks around the ram-sacked dusty room.
“Ten of the most elite men ever placed under the same command, and I am the only man left.”
“I watched my Brothers in Arms die one by one.”
“Half my brothers died on the battlefield; they died doing what they believed in.”
“What we all believed in.” Willing says, wiping the tear that has now fallen to his cheek.”
“I watched my commander first, rot whither to a shell of himself and then die.” he wipes another tear before continuing.
“I NEVER WANTED TO BE IN CHARGE, SIR!” he yells at the ceiling and walls before furthering his rant.
“I WATCH JOE DIE. I WATCHED FRANK DIE. WATCHED TIM DIE. I WATCHED AJ DIE!” He yells towards the ceiling voice cracking slightly.
“Why? Why, Lord am I still here? How am I still here?”
