What’s something most people don’t know about you?

When I was a child, a bar sitcom named ‘Cheers’ would come on TV late at night. It was a show about a local tavern and regular customers.

I know what you are thinking. However, this was a mid-80s or early 90s type of television programming, so it was either politically incorrect by today’s standards or just downright full of subliminal messaging.

(Funny, I watched the show, though I’m no longer a drinker. (L.O.L.)
A man would come into the bar, and everyone would yell his name: “Norm!” the bartender (Ted Danson) and all the other customers would say.

The character Norm wasn’t unique by any means. He was a middle-aged man, married with kids and a mortgage. He is made to represent every man of the era. The job he hates, the wife he tolerates, (and vice versa) functioning drunkard: the storyline and most scenes were focused in the Bar or maybe Sam’s office.

If you think I am saying deep down, I am “Norm…” (HA Ha ha, Moving on.)

This is how I feel about the ‘Internet Brand’ I am building.
I do not like the word “niche. ” It gives everyone the thought process that people are one-dimensional. This leads to assumptions and prejudgments.

You can’t shame me about anything. Why? Because I am going to tell the truth regardless. Being me is my brand; I am from the old school, and we can play that shit.

I couldn’t care less if that music producer from a small town played my music.
I could care less if a jailbird gets out of prison and has a deal waiting on him.
So what, you a natural killer like “Henry”? (Baby Boy voice looking-ass-boy)
You ran ads like everybody else, or your content won’t be seen. FACTS.
I inspire strong emotion in whoever I connect with in any form.
It is my gift from God.
So run your ads to make or prove you are better than me.

Flash your money, flex your guns, and name your names.
(All my Seinfeld fans, chime in if you got that joke.)
Good for you, kiddo!
Okay, I am done venting, but I was killing them. (Ha-HA!)

The point of this metaphor is this: Norm wasn’t famous at all. Hell, nobody even knew who he was but the people at Cheers!
In a world of gimmicks and reality TV, give me that “Teacher Blogger” who is a gentleman and even more intelligent in person.
The “Mother Vlogger” focuses on her kids and crafts ideas for stay-at-home moms but is low-key a businesswoman beast-ing out on the product side behind the scenes.
That “Underdog Photographic Artist” who ‘paid’ his dues does not have to flex to or on anybody.
So give me Cheers, and say “Folkz!” when I enter the “bar.” Ya’ll all I wanted in the first place.
Anyone else, I do hip hop, which is a blood sport. Don’t let the C.H.H. artist fool you. (Truzmea)
