What aspects of your cultural heritage are you most proud of or interested in?
My grandmother’s mother prided herself on being a curious and intelligent woman. I remember her telling me how she wanted her children to be smart, which worked out for me because my mother’s intelligence was passed on to me and my children from me.
As I grow further in this process of life, I understand what a blessing it is to have such a genetic background. As we grow further in this timeline, we call life, knowledge, and wisdom the only one that can go with us.
