Gold Bond

Nothing brings me more pleasure than spending time with my children. Sometimes I look at my children and just smile. Other times it bothers me that I don’t spend time with them like I should. As I think back at my own childhood, I cant remember even wanting to see my father. My mother wasn’t too fond of the man on top of that.

After studying many wise men and women, I learned that we pass along our mentality for our parents to our children. The Bible speaks of this as well. The wisdom of knowing truth is not lost on me. The mentality I had for my own father shows towards me in my children.

So with all of that being said I make this point, when my children decide to reach out to me on their own accord it fills me with joy because I know that really wanted to connect with their father. Mothers might not understand, but fathers do. Even if you never left the house, its something about being Dad.
