Artificial Intelligence, Natural Stupidity — Part Two
Sup Gang, let me holla at you real quick.
You ever meet somebody who thinks they got you all figured out?
I mean, they done watched a few videos, learned some psychological terminology, and now they think they got a damn PhD in YOU.
LBVFS.
Here’s what some people fail to realize.
While you’re busy analyzing me, I’m analyzing how you’re analyzing me.
I’m considering what you think you know, what you don’t know, what you’re assuming, and what personal biases you’re bringing into the conversation.
And here’s where it gets funny.
You might even take me questioning your analysis as proof that your analysis is correct.
BRO, WHAT?!
So now, if I agree with you, you’re right.
If I disagree with you, you’re still right?
That’s not understanding somebody. That’s making sure you never have to admit you might be wrong.
See, Gang, recognizing a pattern doesn’t mean you’ve figured out the person.
Two people can do the exact same thing for completely different reasons.
And just because somebody reminds you of someone you’ve dealt with before doesn’t mean they’re that person.
Your experience with them is not evidence against me.
I don’t mind people trying to understand me.
But don’t confuse your interpretation of me with the authority to define me.
Because while you’re studying my behavior, don’t forget something.
I’m studying yours too.
And I might already know what you’re going to say before you finish convincing yourself you figured me out.
You can have your theories.
You can have your opinions.
But you don’t get to tell me who I am.
I am not them.
